Greetings from Uganda!

I had an uneventful trip from America and landed safely at Entebbe Airport in Uganda on Sunday night. Thankfully, all of my luggage made it as well. Megan and I have been staying in the mission's guest house while our own house is being prepared for us to move in. Unfortunately, my access to the internet is very minimal right now. I apologize that I have not been able to update until today! I will not have consistent access to email and internet until after we move into our house and get the internet connection set up there. We will hopefully be moving into our house by this weekend, however, the internet may not be set up for a few more weeks.

My first impressions of Kampala (the capital city) is that it is similar to some of the other developing nations I have been to, but with a distinctive African flair of course. Kampala is built on a system of hills and is extremely lush and tropical. The people are quite friendly and the weather is actually nicer than Florida since the average elevation here is around 4000 ft.

I have so much more to tell, but that will have to be saved for another time. Thank you for your prayers. I hope to have more time to update and perhaps add a few pictures in the future!
