I am very excited to share with you all that I will be leaving for Uganda on April 21st!
I will be flying to Amsterdam first and then from there to Kampala. I will arrive in Kampala on April 22nd. My departure date is a little later than I had originally hoped, but this is due to the exciting fact that there is another worker, Megan, coming with me from America! We wanted to coordinate our flights so that we could arrive in Uganda at the same time. It will be wondeful to have another person near my age to work with and I am greatly anticipating meeting Megan. We will meet up during a layover in Detroit and then both fly together to Amsterdam and Kampala.
I am currently in the process of shopping for all the items I will need for Africa. I am also working on getting out my info letter to all my supporters before I leave! A lot to do in a little bit of time, but I have been blessed with extra free time now that I am not working. Thank you all for your prayers!
